This wedding was very special for me! It was a family wedding meaning I was also a guest and attended with my wife and daughter (our first wedding as a family). We travelled down to the beautiful Kingston Estate wedding venue, an awe inspiring Georgian Mansion that played host to the weekends events.
The wedding day itself was a rollercoaster. It began with rising tension over the weather which was throwing doubt over the outdoor ceremony. Whilst we waited for the rain to subdue I witnessed some of the most touching father of the bride and bridesmaid reactions. Finally the rain gave in and Gemma made her way down the aisle, only for it to rain again in the middle of her vows. Nothing was going to stop them at this point. They powered on through the rain pausing only to wipe away tears of joy. The rest of the day went without a hitch, the weather played ball allowing for mini golf and an outdoor first dance (love love love this!). I enjoyed the rest of the evening as a guest drinking and dancing the night away.
